Cheesy Email

This has to be the most cheesy email I’ve ever seen in my life.
Just for the search engines: hoax, virus, chain mail

Mon Nov 27, 2006
From: secur@telcan.com

Subject: Mail server report.

Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being
sent from your computer.

Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus
type (Network Worms).

Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer
unnoticeably.
After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the
e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail
addresses

Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer
restoring.

1 Litre of Tears

This drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled "One Litre of Tears" has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone. Aya Kito proved her courage and positive attitude towards an uncertain future when suffering such an illness, spinocerebellar ataxia. The drama spans a decade, during which she graduates from school while her conditions worsen.

The story begins as Aya prepares for the new semester. Despite being happy, she suffers from slight physical problems, which only her mother seems to notice. However, one day, she falls unconsciously on the floor.

After she is sent to the hospital, she is shortly diagnosed with the disease. Despite the fact that she is diagnosed with the terminal illness, she does not lose the will to survive.

She still makes friends with others, including her first love, Yuji. She later develops an interest in Haruto. Although somewhat cold, Haruto was still kind to her. Meanwhile, her health continues to deteriorate.

Knowing that she will not survive for long, she returns a gift to Haruto, who discovers the fact when she reads the love letter that Aya gave him.

In the last episode, she dies peacefully, and her parents mourn her.

Of doughnuts and more doughnuts...

I'm not usually a big fan of doughnuts, but lookie here...

Beautiful, mouthwatering doughnuts!

So I found this new place in The Curve that sells doughnuts. Big deal....NO! This IS a big deal. You're now witnessing the dawn of my Doughnut infatuation! No only that I'm fascinated by their Doughnut-making machine, I enjoy reading the quirky doughnut names and fancy descriptions, I'm especially fond of watching Doughnut sifu-s making their doughnuts pretty! What's more fun is picking which doughnut looks more delicious, because I'm jobless and only have enough money for 1 dozen of them.

The impressive variety without compromising quality.

I swear they're so fresh the chocolate icing was still dripping when they were packing into the box! Business seems very brisk, with the line reforming itself over and over again. That kept the Doughnut sifu-s really busy, the Doughnut trays never full. Lady luck must've been watching over me because I managed to get the last Chococino! I'm nuts, (nuts over dougnuts, geddit? Lol... No? Nevermind) but who wouldn't go nuts over these beauties?

For my next birthday, I want a box of doughnuts *Hint Hint* It does make a good option doesn't it? Economical, easy to obtain, convenient, and practical, best part is, no wrapping involved, muahahaha... Those people who still owe me yumchar, you all are gonna treat me to doughnuts and coffee, wee... Drown me in Doughnuts!

Jogoya

Jogoya is a famous japanese buffet chain from Taiwan. There are the usual buffet style counters where you go and take what you want to eat but there is also a cooked food counter where you place your table clip in a bowl in front of a sample of the dish you want, the chef will cook it and send it to your table.

It's quite cool, because you don't have to stand around waiting for your food. You can go grab other stuff and when you reach your table, your cooked food would have arrived and you'll be able to just dig in! The interior of Joyoga is pretty Zen-like. Nice environment to eat in with soothing music playing in the background.

This place is recommended if you want to stuff yourself silly or a place to celebrate a friend's birthday :-) Nice decor and good food!

In Loving Memory of TBF Intake '05 Class Rep & Gathering

Before the day ends, let's take a chance here, on 1st of August to pay tribute to a very special friend that we hold close to the heart, and also a TBF Jan Intake 2005 Class Representative for 3 consecutive term...

In loving memory, Rosline Lam Soo Kean
31 May 1987 - 1 August 2006

You remain in our memories forever.

On a lighter note, Anthony the mango is back from Italy. Had a little gathering attended by me, ms. julia aka turtle & sis, mr anthony aka mango, bing, myan, chiew vincent and chris ng. Small eating session @ Oh Sushi in Mid Valley. Service and customer satisfaction sucked big time, but that was the only shop that had absolutely no waiting time at all.

Inspired by Jul's desire to camwhore, here are some pics:

Group camwhore =.='''

Doesn't she make us two look like the owner & operator of Chris & Chris Gigolo Pte Ltd?
